PROJECT ATYPE

In 2017, we developed a ‘creators playground’ in the form of a large studio space on Broome Street with a direct to garment (DTG) apparel printer, fully stocked photo studio, large-format printer for zines and posters, stage, and DJ booth with full set-up for playing and producing music. Everything here was free to use, including the blank shirts provided for DTG printing. The brand here also played as host to a variety of events including panels, art and photo exhibitions, music showcases, and workshops for the remainder of 2017.

TOUR DESIGN:

In Fall 2017, we took all of the tools on the road with us to four retail locations in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Atlanta. We created a week long pop-up shop that activated many different types of programming. I oversaw the art direction for the entire tour. Check out all of the elements below:
